Why Choose Us?
At Dynamic Physio, we offer one-on-one treatment sessions that are tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. Our team is led by Dr. Osama Imam, an Osteopractic Physical Therapist who is the only practicing Osteopractor in Southeast Michigan and one of less than 400 in the world. He is also fellowship-trained in orthopedics, which has been proven to provide superior clinical outcomes compared to non-fellowship trained physical therapists. Fellowship trained physical therapists are hard to come by, as they make up less than 1% of all physical therapists.
Dr. Imam is a leading expert in dry needling, and the highest skilled dry needling practitioner in Michigan. He is a senior dry needling instructor for the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, sharing his knowledge and skills with other practitioners in the field.
When most people think of physical therapy, they think of somewhere they go 3 times a week to do a list of exercises, stretches, and end the visit with a heat pack or cold pack. We hope to change your perspective on what physical therapy can do for your health.
We operate on a non-insurance based model, which allows us to provide treatments that are best suited for our patients, not what is best for the insurance company. Unlike traditional in-network physical therapy clinics, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we provide hands-on treatment sessions that combine treatment methods from physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathy, and massage therapy. For this reason, we can get patients better more holistically, saving you money. And instead of seeing you multiple times per week like traditional physical therapists, most of our patients are seen one time per week or less, saving you time.
While we value an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, you do not need a physician referral to see Dr. Imam at Dynamic Physio. Dr. Imam is highly skilled at determining your diagnosis and treating your condition without a script. Additionally, you will not be given a list of unskilled exercises to do in the clinic while the physical therapist catches up on patients. All of our treatments are done with your health and time in mind. Due to our hands-on techniques every treatment session, we are confident you will begin to improve quickly. If you are not improving as expected, we will help find you the right provider for your condition.
Our mission is to empower active adults in maintaining lifelong physical fitness by addressing limitations, and by providing them with the necessary tools to prevent future injuries.
